My story is not about how I found photography but how photography found me. I have always been artistic but never found my niche. That is, until my husband bought me a professional grade camera for Christmas. I did not ask for a camera and had no photography experience. However, I instantly fell in love. It just so happened that my brother was getting married that week. I decided to try my hand at a photo session for them since they did not have a traditional wedding ceremony. When I posted the pictures, the positive feedback was overwhelming. It was hard for people to believe that was my first time doing a photo session. That was the moment I realized that I want to become better and pursue photography. I decided to enroll at The Photography Institute to get my diploma. Since then, I have been pursuing my career and have done portraits, weddings and special events. I intend to continue to expand my portfolio and have also partnered with an established photography company to assist at weddings and help during their busy session. I truly love capturing memories and making them timeless for my clients to cherish for a lifetime. Life goes by so quickly and special memories fade away. Photography for me is the opportunity to allow people to never forget those special moments. I am blessed to have found my calling. There is no greater feeling than to be able to love what you do and do what you love.
